All Dogs

Annual Physical Exam
Quality diet and weight control
Vaccinations: Vaccination program based on your dog's needs
Annual Fecal Testing for parasites as recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Companion Animal Parasite Council (CAPC)
Annual heartworm testing as recommended by the American Heartworm Society
Flea and tick prevention year round — Frontline Plus or Sentinel
Heartworm and intestinal parasite prevention (Heartgard or Interceptor) year round
Dental Care: Home care and professional cleaning as needed
Prompt Diagnosis of any medical problem

For Outdoor Dogs and dogs that run with other dogs, add:

Thyroid testing between 3 and 5 years of age, and repeated whenever symptoms are present

For Puppies:

Deworm at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks of age.
Maintain on monthly dewormer/heartworm prevention after 8 weeks of age (Heartgard or Interceptor)
